Liz Hendren completed her medical school at UBC followed by Internal Medicine and Nephrology training at the University of Toronto.  She also completed a chief residency year in Internal medicine at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto where she developed a passion for resident wellness and medical education.  She pursued a fellowship in Glomerular Diseases at Columbia University in New York City and will be completing a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at UBC.  Her research interests are in women’s health & pregnancy and in recurrent glomerular diseases following transplant and she is part of the Women’s Health Working Group for the CureGN study, an international prospective study following patients with glomerular diseases.
