The Division of Nephrology has contributed significantly to implementing the medical school’s expanded and distributed curriculum. Dr Suneet Singh is the Director of Undergraduate Education for the Division of Nephrology, supported by other division members. Medical Student Electives in Nephrology are available at either Vancouver General Hospital or St. Paul’s Hospital, and receive excellent evaluations.
Many students return as residents. These electives are open to medical students from other Canadian institutions, and are scheduled through the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) Student Portal.
