Dr. Matthew Kaddatz

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Matthew Kadatz completed Internal Medicine and Nephrology training at the University of British Columbia in 2016. He subsequently completed a kidney transplant fellowship at the University of Toronto, followed by a research fellowship through the Clinician Investigator Program at UBC. During this, he completed his Master of Science in epidemiology and health economics at the School of Population and Public Health at UBC.

He is currently a clinical assistant professor with the UBC Division of Nephrology and practices as a transplant nephrologist at Vancouver General Hospital. His research focus is in the field of health economics and policy, and he has been awarded several peer reviewed grants, including the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute Mentored Clinical Scientist award, and the Michael Smith Foundation Health Professional Investigator Award.
