Transplant Nephrology Fellow

Dr. Aiyegbusi is a junior transplant nephrology staff at the University of British Columbia. She completed her nephrology training in the United Kingdom in July 2021 and joined the University of British Columbia Division of Nephrology as a clinical transplant fellow between August 2021 – August 2022. Following this, she continued as a clinical transplant research fellowship with the Nephrology Transplant Research Team, which she completed in August 2023. Her research interests are systematic reviews, meta-analyses and clinical epidemiology, including issues related to patient access to transplantation and healthcare inequalities. She is an advocate for inclusivity, patient education and women in medicine. Outside medicine, she enjoys strength training, hiking, kayaking and travelling.
