Division & Program Administrator
Maeve is the administrative support for the Division and also the executive assistant to Dr. Adeera Levin. Born in Montreal, she returned to Canada in 2008 after growing up in England. Gaining an Honours degree from the University of Leeds, she’s had a varied career, from being the Facilities Manager of the Southbank Centre in London, a 26 acre arts complex on the banks of the River Thames, to being an independent recruitment consultant. Since joining UBC in 2011, she worked for six years for Undergraduate Medical Education, helping final year medical students fill their elective schedules. She’s returned to the Faculty of Medicine after 4 years as a Manager, Administration & Operations at the Sauder School to take on the role within the Division of Nephrology. Outside of her work, she races sailboats throughout the year as part of a crew of between 5-8 others, she part owns a horse she competes locally, and in the winter, she’ll be found on the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb whizzing down the hill.
