Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Claire Harris is trained Clinical Nephrology and Dialysis, and is the Medical Director of the VGH Hemodialysis Unit. Dr. Harris has a Masters in Health Administration from UBC and additional quality improvement training through the University of Toronto’s Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. As of the end of 2023, she became the Co-Chair of the CSN Quality Improvement and Implementation Science (CSN-QUIS) Committee. She has also joined the Canadian Organ Replacement Register (CORR) Board of Directors.
Dr. Harris has an interest in quality improvement and pragmatic clinical trials in hemodialysis and participates in several national and provincial QI and research projects. She is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
