This state-of-the-art 300-bed centre replaces the aging MSA Hospital. At 60,000 square metres, the building is almost three times the size of the old hospital and provides MRI services, general surgery, nuclear medicine, renal dialysis, specialized obstetrics and nursery care, pediatric services and other specialized services. It is the first time in Western Canada that a cancer centre has been integrated with a hospital from the ground up.
