Pei Chen earned her Bachelor of Medicine from Xiangya Medical School, Central South University in 2013. She then completed her Residency in Clinical Medicine (2013–2016) and M.D. in Clinical Nephropathy (2016–2018) at the Institute of Nephrology, Peking University, where she developed her expertise in nephrology.
She began her career at Peking University First Hospital as a Resident (2013–2016), later advancing to General Resident (2016–2019), Attending Doctor (2019–2024), and most recently, Associate Chief Physician (2024–present) in the Renal Division.
Her research focuses on the pathogenesis and treatment of IgA nephropathy.
