Eoghan White

Dr. Eoghan White is from Ireland and earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After completing his training in Internal Medicine he went on to complete Higher Specialist Training in Nephrology in Ireland through the Royal College of Physicians. During this time he also undertook a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration through RCSI which he is currently completing.

In 2023 he moved to Vancouver and completed a Clinical Fellowship in Transplant Nephrology through UBC, after which he continued to work within the transplant department in both a clinical and research role. He is actively involved in the resident teaching program on kidney transplantation for junior doctors. Eoghan always has a special interest in electrolyte abnormalities and acid/base physiology and through his transplant fellowship he developed a particular interest in transplant infectious diseases and transplant immunology. In addition, he became interested in the transitional care between paediatric and adult services and has worked with the transplant team at BCCH to improve the experience of transition to adult services for paediatric patients.

In his spare time Eoghan likes to enjoy everything Vancouver has to offer particularly snowboarding, kayaking, hiking and watching Ice Hockey. Go Canucks!
