Transplant Nephrology Fellow
Gabriel is originally from Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, but grew up in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, where he got his MD from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and his Internal Medicine residency at Homero Miranda Gomes Hospital. He has completed a nephrology fellowship at Campinas State University (UNICAMP), in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. He started his fellowship in the Advanced Training in Nephrology program, with a schedule to start a Transplant Nephrology Clinical Fellowship Program the next year. He has a special interest in general Nephrology, Kidney Transplants, and Internal Medicine. In his spare time, he loves doing outdoor and sea sports, especially hiking, sailing, and outrigger canoeing.
